@ 8:25 not sure what I’m doing wrong (other than playing vanilla) but my carrier core cannot equip the two missiles in the small slots, and my broadside stern can’t equip the whirlwind missiles even though both are unlocked… also broadside stern only has two “A” component slots instead of 3 shown in the video… I’m on year 2361 btw don’t know if that helps.

This reminds me of a story someone made that humans traveled to other galaxies, conquered all races there, uplifted them and told the entire galaxy to prepair for war, and await a great evil from beyond. they made ready for 100 years or so? then the evil came, galaxy made war, won but with massive cost. Humans then left after freeing all the races again, leaving all tech they given and moved on to the next galaxy to repeat the cycle. was a interesting story.

im confused on the lore of how a virtual empire interacts with the universe Where do the minerals and alloys come from? Who actually builds the structures? I thought a machine gestalt from the get-go was a virtual lifeform. They just extend their reach to shell-bodies to get things done, and the upkeep is in place to make sure things dont break down in the material world.

In my run the chosen began to build the aetherophasic Engine and slaughtered half the galaxy, I was the only great power left as I was a isolationist technocracy and by the time I realized what was happening the engine was about halfway done, so I had to march my entire fleet across the galaxy and when I finally found the wormhole I obliterated the chosen home world and brought there entire population into slavery across my empire

Honestly LOVE this DLC, but was a bit flabberghasted with what these ascension paths are supposed to do. Honestly, all three of them sound awesome in their own way. Modularity seems a smidge micro-management-heavy, but other than that, I'm stoked to properly explore the possibilities of these new traditions.

Hi, I hate to be a pedant but you're using "tactically" when I think you mean "strategically". Things that speed up fleets and make your map movements better are strategic advantages that help you win wars. Combat computers and weapons are tactical upgrades because they have to do with battles. Tactics : Strategy :: Battles : Wars

Watched the whole 5 streams as a "deader". I was looking for some good stellaris content since i began playing the game recently. It's impressive all the knowledge you guys have. Really had a good time watching all that.

Omfg all I wanted to know was how tf to initiate the fighting while I'm sitting here in a civil war.

They replaced all the hand drawn imagery in the tech tree and interface with shitty AI generated imagery. I couldn't be more disappointed. Essentially it means that they're no longer hiring or contracting out actual artists to create the content in the game. What a waste of a great franchise!

I'm on my first playthrough of this game and I find this guys videos really hard to make sense of. To me it's just a video Wiki. I'm sure more advanced players get some value. When I push people out of clerk jobs they just become unemployed and I have max buildings. He doesn't really explain the mechanics very well for beginners because he seems to assume we know everything already, like what all the squares mean and when should I replace districts and how many of each do I need with what buildings.

I like to have a fram world or two, it suits my play style. I like to vassalize everybody around me. Once that is done I annex them one or two at a time. Having some farm worlds keeps me from going from +10 food to -300 in a single annexation. Then again I play for fun not for meta.
